Louise has been a professional artist for 20 years and works, primarily in oils, but uses acrylic, watercolor, pen, and pastel where it pleases.

Her work is a game of light and shadow. She usually builds layers of paint until the subject becomes dimensional, touchable, and she feels like she can taste the color.

Louise wants the viewer to experience the first impression, then look around to see the detail, with an eye toward fun.
