WESTERN ART

After more than 25 years under the safelights, when Photoshop arrived it became his new darkroom — and he never looked back and when AI arrived, he went straight down the rabbit hole. For Scott, AI is simply his newest darkroom: a place where images rise unannounced, from somewhere between the conscious and the subconscious, in ways the boy beneath the safelights could only have dreamed. What's emerged is an ever-expanding body of AI imagery that moves freely between the real and the impossible — ethereal landscapes and wildlife so vivid it borders on unreal, dreamlike fantasy worlds, surreal portraits, luminous cityscapes, and the otherworldly allure of mermaids and bold, fashion-forward characters with edge and attitude. Whether rooted in the believable or soaring into pure invention, every frame carries the signature that has always been his: a painter's eye for color, depth, and feeling.

“ Mostly, I want my work to do for others what those collected pieces did for me — not to tell anyone what to feel, but to make images open enough that each person reads their own memories and emotions into them. In the end, that's all my art has ever been: my imagination, brought to life.”
